Used bikes
Good bikes,
second life.
Oldies but goldies: we have a large selection of used bikes, from simple city bikes to high-end fullies, all in top condition, at our Munich-Giesing store. We buy good used bikes, refurbish them in our own workshop and sell them with an inspection report and warranty.

You have a bike that someone else should be riding.

What an Oldie from us comes with.
Current bikes are listed below – all inspected, with a report and warranty. Questions or want to try one out: just drop by the store.

- Report
- Every bike goes through the accident and safety check with a report (item 9506, otherwise 40 €).
- Wear parts
- Chain, pads, cables and tyres are new or demonstrably have life left.
- Battery
- For e-bikes we measure capacity and state the value. Charge cycles too, if readable.
- Warranty
- Statutory warranty, just like buying from a dealer. Plus a free first inspection after 300 km.
- History
- Frame number and inspection report go with the bike. Later this becomes the digital bike file.

Frequently asked questions about bikeOoldies.
How does selling my bike work?
Four steps: an on-the-spot assessment (about half an hour), an offer as an instant cash purchase or store credit (the credit is a bit higher), then the bike goes through our workshop for reconditioning and into our sales range.
Do you buy every used bike?
No. We only buy what we can honestly resell in good conscience. If it's not worth it, we'll tell you so openly at the assessment.
Is there a warranty on used bikes from bikeOoldies?
Yes, the statutory warranty just as with any dealer purchase, plus a free first inspection after 300 km.
What exactly gets checked during reconditioning?
A documented accident and safety check, plus chain, brake pads, cables and tyres, which are either new or demonstrably still have life left. On e-bikes we additionally measure battery capacity and state the figure.
Cash or bank transfer for the purchase?
Instant purchase by bank transfer, or as store credit — which is a bit above the cash price.
Do I get documentation on the bike's history?
Yes, the frame number and inspection report travel with the bike. That's also the basis for its later digital bike record.
How we price.
Purchase price plus refurbishment plus a margin that covers workshop time and warranty. We're open about the refurbishment cost. What we can't sell in good conscience, we don't buy. And we'll tell you so.
